The first bend
There’s a what and a when and a who. What need to be done, when it should be completed, and who is going to make…
So we’re agreed then, this is the plan, D follows C follows B follows A. You know what you have to do, I know what I have to do. Ok. See you at the corner.
Thing is, it never works like the plan says. We get lost before the first bend, we get waylaid and distracted, obstacles appear, some things (everything) take longer than we thought. And at the corner … what the hell happened?
It’s definitely about the planning. And then it’s definitely even more about continuing to plan, to communicate, to coordinate, to collaborate, to stay on course and within sight of each other, to help, to wait, to muck in. Most of all, it’s about keeping in step as a team and working on the problem, and the problem of working on problems, together.
